Due to the high operational safety requirements, hydraulic barriers are typically designed to be fully automatic. The short response times of the system in the event of sudden flooding cannot be achieved with manual systems, as these require significantly longer setup times. Another advantage of automatic systems is that no additional storage space needs to be created (or planned). If storage spaces are not in close proximity to the deployment site, the setup time will be further extended. The retractable element is available in various surface options, allowing for optimal design of the object to be protected. Installation, especially in hazard areas that must be protected from unexpected floods, such as heavy rain or storms, requires a detailed, project-specific analysis of the site.
Features:
- Retractable Barrier for Entry or Passage
- Control and operation of the system range from manual operation (e.g., dead man’s switch) to fully automatic (e.g., water sensors).
- Fully automatic operation with independent power supply is feasible.
- Installation widths realized up to 20 meters.
- Installation heights up to 1.5 meters, depending on the requirements of the installation site.
- Installed flush with the ground, passable (axle load depending on specifications).
- Closure plate made of stainless steel.
- Frame and substructure are coated with high-quality finish.
- Customizable to meet specific requirements.
