Flood Protection ESH/LN: Securing Savings Bank Building

At the end of 2014, RS Stepanek KG was commissioned to design, manufacture, and install flood protection for the headquarters of a savings bank in the greater Dresden area. Approximately 300 meters of flood protection were installed. The system is designed to keep the water out and the savings bank dry.

The ESH/LN dam beam system is the ideal solution for this task. The individual ESH/LN dam beam systems cover water levels ranging from 1200 mm to 2100 mm. They are used in both outdoor and indoor areas.

Thanks to its modular system design, the ESH/LN system covers a wide range of applications with just a few components. During deployment, no complex tools are required for assembly.

When planning the flood protection, it was decided that the system’s supports should remain in place year-round. All supports were equipped with cladding boxes, achieving an aesthetically pleasing and unobtrusive appearance for the ESH/LN system. Looking ahead, the Sparkasse plans to conduct a test setup once a year to remain prepared for future flood events.
