A freight car collided with the installed ESH/LN flood protection system with a water retention height of 1.5 meters while maneuvering under a filling station.
As seen in the picture, the freight car breached the dam barrier.
Two sections of the multi-part system were broken through, with one central support and 10 dam barriers being irreparably damaged.
Despite the severity of the impact, the adjacent sections and components of the system were undamaged. The damaged components were quickly fabricated and replaced. The ESH/LN flood protection system is now fully operational again.
